Tammy Lavecheck is an open water swimmer who successfully completed the Catalina Channel double crossing(MCM) on October 5, 1977 in 24 hours 30 minutes. Her first leg (MC) was in a split of 11 hours 35 minutes.

Cindy also completed the Catalina Channel (CM) on September 27, 1976 in 11 hours 4 minutes.
