Swim Across America Innovative Clinical Trials Center or the Innovative Clinical Trials Center at the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center is the beneficiary of the Swim Across America Dallas event.

[edit] Swim Across America Dallas

The Swim Across America Dallas Open Water Swim (1 mile, 2 miles) is part of the nationwide Swim Across America series on 9 June 2012 in Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, Texas where participants raise money to fight cancer while swimming. Swimmers of all skill levels are welcome to join the event to raise money for the Innovative Clinical Trials Center at the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center. Swimmers can participate as an individual or as a team to honor loved ones who have been affected by cancer.

It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims and has a motto Make Waves to Fight Cancer.

Its co-directors are Daniel Watters, Andrea Hayes Dickson, Jeanne Cunningham, and Staci Brode.

Dallas Aquatic Masters has designed an open water training program to help: Triathlete Swim Training the 1/2-mile, 1-mile, and 2-mile course options. The 2-mile course will consist of doing the 1 mile loop twice.
