St. Kitts is a beautiful Caribbean island with abundant places to enjoy open water swimming. It is the finish point of the annual StarMile2.5 Nevis~St Kitts Cross-Channel Swim that is part of the West Indies Bluewater Swim Series.
Jarrett Tishmack became the first person to swim from St. Kitts to St. Eustatius across the 15 km Statia Channel on 1 November 2012 in 4 hours 40 minutes.
