Dr. Shana Harrington
Shana Harrington, PT, PhD, SCS, MTC is a K12 Scholar at the University of Florida and an Assistant Professor at The University of North Florida. She is conducting a survey on swimmer's shoulder together with Dr. Angela Tate.

Education

She received her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Human Movement Science. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy - MPT from the University of St. Augustine and a B.A. in Exercise, and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bio

Dr. Harrington is employed by the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NICHD), National Institutes of Health Rehabilitation Research Career Development Program. The goal of this program is to prepare Scholars, trained Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to initiate successful and independent careers as rehabilitation researchers.

She is also an Assistant Professor at The University of North Florida in the Department of Clinical and Applied Movement Sciences.
