Rio Tinto Alcan Youth Marathon is a Canadian open water swimming competition. The race is held before the Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean annually in July in Lac St-Jean in Roberval, Quebec. 25 swimmers race over a 10 km marathon swimming course for C$6,500 in prize money. It is named as one of Canada's Top Open Water Swims.

The Rio Tinto Alcan Youth Marathon allows competitors aged 14 to 26 to best lac St-Jean in a 10 km solo challenge. The departure of the race takes place on Robertson’s Beach in the Montagnais Community of Mashteuiatsh; its finish – always emotional and spectacular – in Roberval at the spot where the swimmers of the 32 km race touch the finish line plaque.
