Reto Acapulco is one of Mexico's oldest open water swimming competitions with optional distances of 6.4 km and marathon swims of 11 km and 22 km held in the world famous Acapulco Bay and organized by Dulce Belmar. The event takes place the second weekend in November since 1991. Swimmers of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part. This is not a competition but a personal challenge. Our priority is your safety, therefore we are the only event in Mexico where each swimmer has an assigned boat to assist you. Please contact us for more details by emailing or by liking us on Facebook as Reto Acapulco Aguas Abiertas.
