Rafal Sebastian Ziobro is an extreme marathon swimmer from Krakow, Poland who crossed the Strait of Gibraltar on 24 June 2008 in 6 hours 19 minutes from Leona Point at the age of 31.

Ziobro is also a member of the First Intercontinental Swimming Relay from Eurasia to America across the Bering Strait Meeting of the Sun, a 86 km (53 mile) relay will take place between July-August, 2012.

He also finished a 3.4-mile swim across the Strait of Magellan in Chile in 1 hour 19 minutes in February 2011. The waters in this extreme part of the world were 4.5°C (40.5°F) with the support of the Chilean Navy.
