noun - Pro circuit refers to a series of professional marathon swimming competitions where professional marathon swimmers compete for prize money. The contemporary pro circuit includes the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix and the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup. Previously held pro circuits include races sanctioned or organized by the World Professional Marathon Swimming Federation and the International Marathon Swimming Association.

The professional marathon swimmers gathered in Rosario, Argentina for the start of this year's pro circuit.
