Peter Jurzynski

Peter Jurzynski is the one of the oldest successful swimmers of the English Channel and a member of the Half Century Club. He was inducted as an Honour Swimmer in 2005 in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. He made 17 attempts at the English Channel with 13 successes with plans to attempt once per year for as long as he is able to make an honest attempt. He has also swum the Boston Light Swim numerous times.

He crossed the English Channel three times over the age of 50 including a 17:18 crossing in 2004 at the age of 53, a 14:57 crossing in 2003 at the age of 52, and a 17:08 crossing at the age of 51 in 2002.
