Peter Winchester, also known for his nickname, the Humber King
Peter Winchester is a 72-year-old British open water swimmer known as the Humber King for his record-setting 70 crossings of the River Humber between Spurn Point and Cleethorpes. He also coaches open water swimmers after a lifetime of swimming.

He has also celebrated his 54th Christmas Day swim. In 2013, he was accompanied by three generations of the same family, along with daughter Sally Critchley, 50, and granddaughter Danielle Critchley, 20.
