Paula Stephanson is a Canadian open water swimmer who is a member of the 24-hour club due to her 31.9-mile solo swim across Lake Michigan in the United States of America on 23-24 August 2009 in 25 hours 38 minutes. She also completed a solo 20-mile (32 km) swim across Lake Superior at the age of 28 on 18 August 2007 in 13 hours 15 minutes from Quarry Point, Port Wing (state of Wisconsin) to Foot of Break-Wall, Two Harbors (state of Minnesota).
