Great Big Monster Sea Swim, a charity relay for Teenage Cancer Trust
Paul Irwin is a triathlete and open water swimmer who is a member of the Great Big Monster Sea Swim with Dr. Bruce Hughes, Karl Whittaker who replaced Jon Parker, Simon Mathers and John Jameson. Irwin was also part of a 21-mile ocean relay in 2009, the Lundy Swim from Lundy Island to Woolacombe Beach in North Devon in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2009 that was a 7 hour 3 minute charity relay for Children's Hospice.

Great Big Monster Sea Swim

The 81-mile Great Big Monster Sea Swim is a 5-man relay between Guernsey in the Channel Islands and Dartmouth on the south coast of Devon. The charity relay, estimated to take 48 hours with each man swimming approximately 16 miles, is being done in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust as a part of the Sanofi 1000 Mile Challenge.
