PROSwim Challenge

The PROSwim Challenge is the first European championship open water swimming conducted in stages. Its first stage is the Swim The Costa Brava, a 1.5 km, 3.5 km, and 6 km open water swimming event in l'Escala on Costa Brava in Spain on 21-22 September 2013. The Swim The Costa Brava is organised by Aida Molina and Daniel Pagés of Culture Sport. The second event of the ProSwim Challenge will be held in Bergeggi, Italy and is organized by Matteo Testa of bewater

PROSwim Challenge 2013

The 2013 PROSwim Challenge comprises of 2 competitions over 2 consecutive weeks and in different locations in the Mediterranean waters.

Stage 1 - Swim The Costa Brava on 21-22 September 2013 in L’Escala, Spain.
Stage 2 - Swim the Island on 5-6 October 2013 in Bergeggi, Italy.

The 2013 winners was Jacques Tuset from France and Lyne Mc Gregor from England

PROSwim Challenge 2014

The 2014 PROSwim Challenge comprises of 3 competitions over 3 consecutive weeks and in different locations in the Mediterranean waters.
​ Stage 1 - Swim The Costa Brava in September 2014 in L’Escala, Spain.
Stage 2 - Swim the Green Island in September 2014 in La Ciotat, France.​
​Stage 3 - Swim the Island in October 2014 in Bergeggi, Italy.
