Nasser el Shazly is a swimmer from the United Arab Emirates who was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 1979 as an Honour Swimmer. He set the world record in the English Channel when he swam from France to England in 8 hours 45 minutes in the 1977 Arab Nations English Channel Race.
