Nashville Open Water Swim

The Swim Across America Nashville Open Water Swim is held on 18 August 2012. Participants includes swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Participants can swim as an individual or as a team to honor loved ones who have been affected by cancer. All proceeds from the swim benefit Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Swimmers aged 14+ must raise at least US$300 by swim day. Swimmers aged under 14 must raise at least US$250 by event day.

The Nashville Swim will include a 1/2-mile and a 1-mile option.

==Venue:

The event will take place in Old Hickory Lake in Sander's Ferry Park - Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Donations tax-deductible and will be donated to a local beneficiary, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. Sponsors may support the swimmer of your choice by making an online donation or sending a check, payable to Swim Across America, to One International Place, Suite 4600 Boston, MA 02110.
