Naples Island Swim
The Naples Island Swims events consists of 5 swimming races of varying lengths in Long Beach, California's Alamitos Bay. Races have been held in Alamitos Bay since at least the 1960s in this area.

The water temperature can range from the mid to high 60s. All race starts and finishes occur between 2nd St. and Ocean Blvd off Bayshore Ave. and 54th Place in Long Beach.

Registration will be located on the beach near the corner of 54th Pl. and E. Ocean Blvd. Tables will be setup in front of the Bayshore Aquatic Playground Park.

Competitors are encouraged to bring an escort paddler, but it is not necessary. Paddlers should bring their own equipment. However, a limited selection of kayaks will be available for rent on the beach from Kayaks on the Water.
