Michael Renford is an Australian open water swimmer who is a member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming. He completed the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 2009 in 7 hours 29 minutes, taking third overall. He also completed a solo crossing of the English Channel in 2007 in 12 hours 10 minutes and was on the historic Sun Rice Australia team that did the first four-way English Channel relay crossing in 43 hours 7 minutes.
