Messiniakos Gulf Swim (one-way) is a 30 km race from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia in Peloponnese. Messiniakos Gulf Swim (two-way) is a 60 km race from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia. It is held on the first weekend of September and is one of the longest marathon swims in the world.
