Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli is part of the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix, a professional marathon swimming circuit, and one of the longest running professional marathon swimming competitions in the world. It starts on the island of Capri and finishes in Napoli on the mainland of Italy. It is one of the longest marathon swims in the world at 36 km (22 miles).

History
Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli has a long history of attracting the best marathon swimmers in the world to Napoli since 1954. Over its 6 decades in existence, the Maratona has been part of the World Professional Marathon Swimming Federation, the International Marathon Swimming Association, and the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit.
