Luca Ferretti (Livorno, 17 Novembre 1984) is a world-class professional open water swimmer from Italy who participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China and won the gold medal as part of the winning 3-person Italian Team at the 2011 European Open Water Swimming Championships. He is married to Federica Vitale, a fellow Italian national open water swimming team member and finished second at the 2013 Campionato Italiano Assoluto 5 km race. He participated in both the 5 km solo and 5 km team pursuit relay competitions at the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain.

È specializzato nel nuoto su lunghe distanze in vasca e soprattutto nel nuoto in acque libere, dove ha partecipato a partire dal 2003 alle gare della nazionale agli europei e ai campionati mondiali. I suoi migliori risultati li ha ottenuti ai Campionati europei di nuoto 2008, vincendo l'oro nella 5 km a squadre e ai mondiali di Roma, quando ha sfiorato il podio sempre nei 5 km.
