Leonard Jansen is an American open water swimmer from Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. He has competed in the 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim in New York, 17-mile Rose Pitonof Centennial Swim in New York City, 28.5-mile Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, the 8-mile Boston Light Swim and participated in the 26-mile END-WET in North Dakota and the Cape Circumnavigation Challenge 15.1-mile marathon swim around Cape May, New Jersey organized by Jason Malick and sanctioned by the World Open Water Swimming Association. He also completed the 2014 Extreme North Dakota Watersports Endurance Test or END-WET, is a 36-mile (57.9 km) swim down the Red River between North Dakota and East Grand Forks, Minnesota in the United States in 10 hours 33 minutes.
