Lake George is a large lake in Lake George Village, New York. It is site of the U.S. Masters Swimming 6-9 Mile Open Water Swimming Championship that includes a 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km marathon swim on 23 August 2014, organized by Green Leaf Racing. It was also site of the 1927 Lake George Marathon Swim that was won by Edward Keating in over 19 hours over 140 other competitors from around the world.
