John Sigmund

John Sigmund is an American ultra-marathon swimmer who was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as an Honour Swimmer in 1965. He swam 470 km (292 miles) down the Mississippi River from St. Louis to Caruthersville, Missouri in 89 hours 46 minutes, starting on 25 July 1940 and is a member of the 24-Hour Club.
