Jade Scognamillo completed a 19 hour 59 minute 52 km crossing of Lake Ontario in Canada that was nominated for the 2009 World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year. Certified by Shelagh Freedman of Solo Swims, she raised $35,000 for an incubator for the Neonatal Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children.
