Gunnar Werner

Gunnar Werner is the Vice President at International Council of Arbitration for Sport. Current, Vice President at International Council of Arbitration for Sport and Lawyer at Werner's Law Firm, Karlstad, Sweden. He is a former Olympic competitive swimmer and member of the FINA Bureau.

Werner also served at the FINA Bureau Liaison on the initial FINA Open Water Commission that studied the possibility of adding open water swimming to the Olympic Games. He served on this commission together with Monier Sabre (Egypt), Roger Parsons (Great Britain), Jaroslav Novak (Czech Republic), Dale Petranech (USA), with Berry Rickards (Australia).
