Germán Vaché (born July 30) is the official Argentinian photographer for the Maratón Acuática Internactional Ciudad de Rosario, the kick-off event for the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix which is a 15 km professional marathon swimming competition at Rambla Catalunya Beach in Rosario, Argentina. Vaché speaks Spanish, English, and Italian, and is very active on media and networking for the sport of open water swimming on Facebook and Twitter. He was named one of the 101 Movers And Shakers In The Open Water Swimming World by the Daily News of Open Water Swimming.


Vaché's other's family is from the Piemonte Region, Italy and his father is from Argentina. He has dual citizenship. He learned to swim at the age of 7 years taught by the Argentinian and South America champion swimmer Patricia Muñiz Lopez, the swim coach of Rosario Rowing Club. His hobbies include rowing, sailing and tai chi chuan.
