noun - FLOG is an online fitness blog managed by U.S. Masters Swimming on its website. Through use of the FLOG, U.S. Masters Swimming can input and learn their daily, monthly and annual distances that they have trained as well as participate in the annual Go The Distance program.

Go The Distance

Go The Distance is a self-directed, honor system that encourages adults to track their workouts in the pool and open water throughout the year. Each athlete tracks the distance they swim on their online Fitness Log (FLOG). They can compare their own efforts on a year-to-year basis and compare themselves to everyone else or simply among those of their same age and gender. When certain milestones are achieved, the athlete is recognized on the U.S. Masters Swimming website and will receive special prizes from Nike Swim.
