noun - An Event Editor is an individual who adds and edits information about open water swimming events that are posted at the WOWSA-supported Global Open Water Swimming Race Calendar (posted here. With an estimated 12,000 open water swimming events in at least 162 countries around the world, Event Editors continue to add information (dates, distances, locations, course details, etc.) to the Global Open Water Swimming Race Calendar.

To become an Event Editor and edit information in the race calendar, individuals need to register and login as a free member. The initial default level of access is an Event Contributor. Members who wish to update, embellish and edit open water swims are upgraded to Event Editor status. Event Editors receive additional controls when they log into the calendar.
