Davis Aquatic Masters

The Davis Aquatic Masters (DAM) is a masters swimming club located in a Davis, California that is one of the largest U.S. Masters Swimming teams in the United States. DAM has a membership of over 500 people from beginning swimmers to world champions, ages 18 to over 90 years.

DAM holds 47 coached pool swimming workouts every week and two lap swim sessions each weekend, all year long.

[edit] Open Water Swimming

DAM hosts the annual Lake Berryessa Swim, a 1-mile and 2-mile open water swimming competition and site of the 2014 U.S. Masters Swimming open water swimming championship.

[edit] Hour Postal Swim

DAM has won the large team division of the Speedo USMS 1-Hour Postal National Championship 5 times since 1998 (1998, 1999, 2009, 2010, 2011). In 2012, DAM was unseated by New England Masters, a multi-state team with over 1900 members.
