Cathy Delneo
Cathy Delneo is a public librarian and open water swimmer from San Francisco, California. She is an accomplished cold-water swimmer, having completed an ice swim in Lake Tahoe as well as the first all-female relay from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Farallon Islands. Cathy is a member and former swim commissioner of the South End Rowing Club.

Shark Encounter

Delneo is also a survivor of a shark encounter and shark attack. She was bitten by a tiger shark off the North Carolina shore on the east coast of America in 2004.
