Cara Baker (born 1990) is a top open water swimmer from New Zealand. Baker placed 22nd (2:02:34.0) in the 2011 FINA World Championships in the 10 km in Shanghai, China. She has won several stages at the State Insurance New Zealand Ocean Swim Series including the 2010 and 2013 State Harbour Crossing in Auckland.

She also represented New Zealand at the 2012 FINA Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier in Setubal Bay, Portugal and is a model for Aquadiva Swimwear. She competed in the 5 km solo swim and the 5 km team pursuit relay competition in Barcelona, Spain at the 2013 FINA World Championships.
