Bridge to Bridge Swim

The 10 km Bridge to Bridge Swim is organized by Water World Swim and held in June. The competition is limited to 30 elite swimmers. In 2012, the competitors began at the Golden Gate Bridge (close to the south tower) and finish at the San Francisco Bay Bridge during a 3.85-knot Flood tide from west to east.
There are two divisions: Non-Wetsuit and Wetsuit for male and female swimmers.
