Amanda Hampton
Amanda Hampton is a marathon swimmer from Sydney, Australia and currently residing in Naperville, Illinois, USA. She is a two-time finisher of the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 2009 (8:36) and 2010 (8:59). Her other marathon swims include the Bermuda RTS 10K (2007, 2008), Swim Miami 10K (2008), Swim Around Key West (2008), Kingdom Swim (2010), and Swim the Suck (2010), 27-mile END-WET in 8 hours 41 minutes on 13 July 2013.

Hunt is affiliated with the Promontory Point Open Water Swimmers of Chicago.

END-WET

The Extreme North Dakota Watersports Endurance Test or END-WET, is a 36-mile (57.9 km) mixed-sports event where solo and relay open water swimmers pit themselves against other endurance athletes down the Red River between North Dakota and East Grand Forks, Minnesota in the United States. It is one of the longest marathon swims in the world. The event is organized and directed by Andy Magness.
