The African Swimming Safari not only highlights the best of the South African wildness, but it also sandwiches the 16-day tour between the world's largest open water swimming event - the Midmar Mile - and the African continent's oldest open water swimming event - the Redhouse River Mile.

The itinerary for the February 2012 tour includes comprehensive travel through South Africa's greatest locations and swims. Swimmers can view the Big 7 (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, leopard, whale and great white shark) in their natural habitat at the Addo Elephant National Park and see the famed Robben Island as well as royalty, the Princess of Monaco at the Midmar Mile.
