Abigail 'Abby' Nunn is a Yale University student and world record holder for the Chris Greene Lake Swim in Virginia. She has also won numerous open water swims including the 0.5-mile, 1.5-mile and 5-mile races at the Open Water Swimming Festival in Vermont, the Greenwich Island Beach 2-miler, the Madison Mile, the Ben Hair Memorial and the Purple Swim Bud Beatty events. She also was victorious overall in her first marathon swim, the Swim Around Key West in Florida. She won the 2012 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim on 23 June 2012.

She graduated with the highest grade point average of any varsity athlete at Yale University in 2012 and entered medical school at the University of Virginia in fall 2012.
